The space between day and night, summer and fall, celebrations and goodbyes…it’s that fleeting moment that is often remembered clearly – or not at all.

Inspired by a gloriously warm January evening in Puerto Rico, I caught sight of this small group of guests getting to know each other on the eve of a family wedding. This moment, though frozen in time, may not be remembered by anyone if not for the eye behind the camera and the hand behind the sketchbook.
