Reflection #7 is a continued study of glass reflection, in the literal since. In a deeper sense, rapidly changing perspective — and reflection of that perspective — is representative of our changing view of the world based upon our own unique experiences. The quick transition from up close to distant, adds drama, and is representative of how large we are in our own eyes, but how relatively insignificant we are the further away one gets. It is just a matter of perspective.
Fabric collage created with commercial and hand-dyed cotton fabrics, quilted with a variety of polyester and cotton threads. The pieces of the collage are permanently fused and stitched, prior to quilting.
