‘Parkside Reflections’ is a continued study of perspective and reflection. My inspiration was a local building whose large glass windows create multiple reflections. This is similar to how we reflect the world around us to others and how, in turn, it is interpreted and reflected back, often becoming increasingly distorted.
Fabric collage created with commercial and hand-dyed cotton fabrics, quilted with a variety of polyester and cotton threads. The pieces of the collage are permanently fused and stitched, prior to quilting.
