Walking along the ocean’s edge just after dark evokes a special feeling of serenity. The rhythm of the surf combined with the darkness feel like a lullaby to be heard before sleeping. On moonlit nights, one can catch glimpses of the surf and the patterns in the sand, but still, the lullaby continues.

Fabric collage created with hand-dyed cotton fabrics, quilted with a variety of polyester and silk threads.  The pieces of the collage are permanently fused and stitched, prior to quilting.
