On a visit to Paris, I happened upon this sweet private garden. Even in the middle of the city, it felt intimate and private.  I began to imagine it at night, in the moonlight, with shadows dancing across it with a gentle breeze.  What a perfect place for whispered conversations, a private meetup or just a bit of solitude before bedtime.  

Fused and stitched collage, machine quilted.

Artist’s hand dyed cotton fabric,  polyester threads, cotton batting.
