Amsterdam is home to many people who live in apartments, houses, or houseboats on the 100 kilometers (60 miles) of canals. The iconic canal houses, many dating back to the 17th century, are very picturesque and painted or photographed regularly.
‘Canal Life’ is a textile translation of a sketch that I did when visiting Amsterdam in 2018.
